At a glance

The Physics program at UT Dallas is on the forefront of groundbreaking research. The Department of Physics is a pioneer in the field, initially founded by Texas Instruments (TI) scientists and engineers. Our department maintains close ties with TI, as demonstrated by the Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory, a 192,000-square-foot research facility designed in collaboration with TI. Our faculty comprises world-renowned experts in:
