Undergraduate Advising
We believe that education is a journey, not a destination. We’re committed to help you make the most of your time here and prepare you for success beyond graduation.
We are degree plan experts.
Academic advisors are assigned to students based on a student’s major and last name (see Undergraduate Advisors below). They assist students via UTD email, virtual appointments and in-person appointments. We recommend all undergraduate students meet with their academic advisor at least once per semester.
Reasons to set-up an appointment include:
- Review degree progress audit and degree plan
- Discuss a semester by semester plan toward graduation
- Discuss change of major to NS&M or within NS&M
- Discuss adding a minor
