Molecular Biology

At a glance

The Molecular Biology program at UT Dallas, offered by the Department of Biological Sciences, explores the structure, function and interactions of biomolecules such as DNA, RNA, proteins and enzymes. This knowledge is the foundation for advancements in personalized medicine, genetics, biotechnology and other scientific fields.

Our molecular biology students have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies including next-generation sequencing, gene editing (e.g., CRISPR), and advanced imaging methods.
