The Biotechnology program at UT Dallas, offered by the Department of Biological Sciences, prepares students for careers in the fast-growing fields of biotechnology and biomedicine. Biotech is a rapidly growing industry, driven by advancements in technology and increased demand for new medical therapies, environmental solutions, and agricultural innovations.

Our top-tier faculty help students facilitate cutting-edge research on gene expression, protein structure and function, carcinogenesis, neurodegeneration, bacterial pathogenicity and symbioses, metabolism and signaling networks.
